Average weather statistics:

Generally, the weather is hottest at the end of July and beginning of August, frequently 80-90 ish. Given it is so close to the Atlnatic and the Pyrenees, we have fantastic electrical storms, shooting star showers, and sometimes more summer rain than is fair...but it's always warm.

If the weather is overcast most folk head to the beaches at Mimizan or Biscarosse to go body-boarding or surfing. The surf World Championships were held down the road towards Biarritz.
