"We went body surfing. swimming in the lake, walking, running, read a great deal and spent hours talking and catching up on that brilliant and huge terrace..The library is excellent, with books for all ages - three years to sixty six! We purchased fresh produce from the market and ate local food. The fresh bread round the corner was a treat to get folk out of bed early! No need for smart clothes. I wore a couple of old pairs of shorts and a bathing costume and my finery remained in the case. I hope we can go again. We had the holiday of a lifetime!" JF, Scotland
